Let’s all support Greenpeace’s Simple Lang Save the Climate campaign.
“The Philippines is very much vulnerable to climate change. With sea-level rise and extreme weather conditions that we are experiencing now…who can deny that climate change is already happening? Yes, it’s here now and global warming will worsen if we don’t do something. Blame it on coal and those who consume too much energy…isa ka ba sa kanila?” – Greenpeace.

Freshwater: one of our planet’s most precious resources.
Freshwater from rivers, streams, lakes, springs, and groundwater reservoirs, sustains life on earth. But today these important water sources are in danger.
Pollution from factories, agricultural runoff, municipal wastes and other sources have made access to clean water, difficult, while extreme weather, like drought and heavy rains which cause massive floods, have put additional strains in clean water availability.
From September 12 to 28 Greenpeace is holding a photo contest to bring people together to celebrate and protect our important freshwater sources.

People all over the world are becoming environmentally-proactive, thinking of ways to help preserve and protect Mother Earth.
Now, here in the Philippines, plastics make up most of the garbage that ends in esteros and canals — causing flood. Since prevention is better than cure, let us minimize our use of plastic (especially when shopping), and use green bags.
