For photographers and enthusiasts, UNESCO (Earth Sciences Programme) is running a photo contest, theme of which is “The Changing Face of the Earth”, to raise awareness among youth of the state of the planet. There are several cameras and 40 book prizes to be won. Entries close on 30 June 2008.
Contestants may enter in one of the two following categories:
15-20 year olds and

We’re talking with this organization intending to sponsor environmental kiosks which will be set up in strategic places in this one province.
The kiosks would be like mini-libraries filled with books and multimedia on the environment. We’ve already gathered listings of available publications, and hopefully, we’d be able to get a list of multimedia outside our resources at work.
