Kamayan Para sa Kalikasan Forum Celebrates its 18th Year!

The monthly environmental forum at Kamayan-EDSA, convened by Clear Communicators for the Environment (CLEAR) and Sanib-Lakas ng Inang Kalikasan (SALIKA) held its 217th session on 28th March 2008 with a big celebration to commemorate its 18th year.

LETS HAVE KAMAYAN PARA SA KALIKASAN SESSIONS EVERYWHERE!Thats the rallying call of the conveners of the monthly environmental forum as a big step forward for spreading environmental awareness and discourse informally “ at the family dinner table, in the classrooms, at breaktime or even during office hours, in jeepney and tricycle terminals, in the market stalls, in the fishing boats, in restaurants “ indeed, kamayan para sa kalikasan everywhere!

Kamayan for coming to talk and understand one another, kamayan for agreeing on some points, on some plans, kamayan to keep talking and sharing information and views, kamayan to express our harmony among ourselves and with Mother Nature.

The Kamayan Para sa Kalikasan monthly forum is held at Kamayan-EDSA on the third Friday of every month from 10:30am to 2:00pm with free lunch courtesy of Kamayan. For more information, visit http://kamayanforum.8m.net .
