Project Eco-Kids Needs Volunteers

For those who wanna spend their time doing something worthy, volunteer for Project Eco-Kids!

PROJECT ECOKIDS is a climate change awareness campaign for kids, being facilitated by the World Wide Fund for Nature - Philippines (WWF-Philippines), the global conservation organization, together with The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking
Corporation (HSBC). This aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of students on climate change.

HSBC and WWF will be needing volunteers for the conduct of interactive lectures in public schools to implement 4 unique modules: (1) climate change, (2) energy efficiency and conservation and renewable energy, (3) waste management and (4) lessons learned on climate change.

There will be a 1-day training and orientation about the project on August 22, 2008 (Friday) at the office (JBD Plaza, Room 206, No. 65 Mindanao Avenue, Bagong Pag-asa, QC). The activity will start at 9:00am and end at around 4:00pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

For those interested, please contact (02) 9207923/ 26 or 31 local 12 or (0917) 3940962, or email us at mpadilla @wwf. org.ph.

And do us a favor, pass this on.

    Dear Project ECO KIDS,

Your opinion on this idea would be greatly appreciated.

If the zillions of kids around the world called ECOKIDS could somehow be brought together as a one, unified world organization the positive environmental results could be real and awesome. Kids can have a powerful influence on adult’s thinking because our kids are our tomorrows. ECO KIDS of the world are the same in name different in their ways but they are together in their goals trying to help make this old world a safer, cleaner and healthier place for us all. during these times, and given their huge recognized numbers it would seem that the world’s ECO KIDS working together to achieve this goal would at least be worth a thought. ECO KIDS of the world support and participate in the annual Earth Day,celebrations, along with millions other people in over 170 countries.that should say something in any language., There can be no greater need or deed than saving the earth.

Please excuse this message if it is not of your interest.

    Thank You for your time.
