There is a social business enterprise here in the country known as Rags2Riches, where a group of students, alumni, and professors work together to help the women in Payatas, to atleast help alleviate them from poverty.
These women from Payatas make rags, from the scrap cloth found in their community. It’s like shooting two birds with one stone… helping uplift the people in the area, and taking care of the environment, by creating something fashionable out of “garbage cloths”.

Ive just finished reading an interesting article on wood flooring, “Hardwood Flooring is Nature’s Renewable Flooring Resource,” written by Ed Korczak in June 2004.
It tells that “wood is by far the most environmentally friendly and abundantly renewable flooring material available”, and that this is also supported by one of the world’s leading environmentalists, Dr. Patrick Moore.

We just had our Christmas party at the office and also here at the villa… This is the season when we get our bodies filled, no Anoretix or diet solutions, just good food. I’m still even dizzy from last night’s party.
