Wonder what happened to the PNP-Bio Diesel Program?
If I remember it right, last quarter of last year, the Philippine National Police launched the PNP Biodiesel Program where they used “mixed cooking oil and diesel” to fuel their patrol cars. They even joked that the discharge “smells like chicken”.. Yummy… hehe.
I hope it went well cause oil prices are really unpredictable these days… If the project proves to be a success, then, all we have to do is maybe sell our own “used cooking oil” to those who could process them …

Okay, I first learned about this via Pinay Mom Blogs…

It’s a washing “machine” that’s powered by human, I mean, a biker. It’s a customized drum attached to a bike, where, I believe, you have to put your dirty clothes inside the drum, half-fill it with water, and then the “labandera” would have to pedal to make it run. Think gym meets laundrymat. (This is great for those who wanna be fit and dont have the money to go to the gym and walk on treadmills or ride bikes).

Okay, Im not really much of a traveller… although I know I should be, especially because the best way to appreciate and love nature is to experience it.
Which brings me to this one question — what is the best place in the Philippines?
I tried searching for answers online, and it gave a variety… from the very near Bicol (old tradition land) to the even nearer Manila! Then, there’s Surigao City in Mindanao… and according to the person who said it’s the best, “it’s a small city, no mall, but safe”. …

There’s this one video documentary Im watching right now — viewing it in preparation for the public video showing we’re about to do come March, in celebration of the World Water Day.
It’s about the privatization of water, and how it impacts negatively not just to the economy, nor to the society, but to the world as a whole.
