Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig

March 1st, 2009 Posted by water 14 thoughts on “Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig”

Thanks to all sorts of garbage — plastics, old tires, napkins and adult diapers, heck, even human feces, Ilog Pasig has become a dead river.

… and it’s been like that even before I was born.

This is a call on everybody to help rehabilitate and clean up Pasig River.

It’s as easy as sending a text message. All you have to do is text GIVE < space > ILOG to 231 for Smart and Talk n Text subscribers, and to 2366 for Globe and Sun Cellular Subscribers… or for donations, please deposit to “Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig” , Banco de Oro Account Number 393-0078222. Sct. Albano Branch.

Im really glad that the media is finally in on this… the government, and a few NGOs cant really do this alone. Media is powerful and it’s great to see that power being put to good use. Kudos to ABS-CBN.

Let’s all be part of this revolution.
