SM Supermarket Goes Green
Wednesdays are green at the SM Supermarket!
I accompanied my friend today at the SM Supermarket — she went to buy sardines and catfood for her pets. hehehe. Anyway, was happy to have discovered that the supermarket goes green on Wednesdays. For people who buys lots of groceries (big carts), they have the green bags [you can also buy them for 30 pesos, if im not mistaken], and for people who buys just an item or two, they have paper bags (think papemelroti without the logo). I thought it’s cool — green cool!
Anyway, I was at SM to check on our exhibit. It’s gonna be the awarding of the Nationwide Search for Eco-friendly Schools tomorrow, and the “green projects” of the school finalists are exhibited at the Annex. Tomorrow, we’ll be there to award the top three per school level — of course, that’s elementary, high school, and college.
Maybe after tomorrow, or later tomorrow, Id share the champs. Id have to check on the directory submission… If you’re free, check out the exhibit. It will only be til tomorrow.
PS: There’s also gonna be an MRF Exhibit launch tomorrow at SM North EDSA Foodcourt, 12noon.
