Solid Waste Management Seminar for Kasambahay

20 January 2010 No Comment

In celebration of the 9th Anniversary of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, or Republic Act No. 9003, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), as Chair to the National Solid Waste Management Commission, will be holding four sessions of Ecological Solid Waste Management Seminars for Kasambahay (household helpers).

It’s gonna be on January 28 and 29, 2010, four batches (half day each) where kasambahays will be taught the basics of solid waste management — including segregation and recycling… I believe this is one beneficial seminar, an alternative to basic home budgeting software, cause homeowners will save a lot if the household helpers know how to reuse and recycle.. and segregate wastes so they could sell the “sell-able” garbage to junk shops.

Call the NSWMC-S for details at 9202252.
