Biodiversity for 2010

Care for life…

2010 has been declared by the UN Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversitiy as the International Year of Biodiversity. The theme is “Biodiversity is Life. Biodiversity is our life.”

Which even emphasizes the idea that we should all live in love. Love all creatures, big and small, and we protect our life… so another one of those million acts we could all do to help save the planet, care for animals. Just that. Simple, isn’t it.

Indeed, there are things that are more worthwhile than makeup, or having the best shoes, or finding the best weight loss product. Being in union with nature is one. And since love starts from appreciation (well, that’s my opinion, hehe), if you have kids (or young cousins, etc), why not start by taking them to the zoo, or buying them little pets, and telling them that these are all works of God, and they should be loved and we have to take care of them — not harm them.”

Of course, as parents (or adults), we have to walk the talk.
