Unplug

“Unplug to Save”…

This is MERALCO’s campaign for the environment. It is simple, very direct, and it compels people to really “unplug”.

… and it is, indeed, very timely. Especially now that the globe is uniting for climate change. Unplug all unused electrical equipment, and you get to save energy.

At the office, make sure you unplug your computer (and printer) after you use them. Turn off the lights when you go out of the room. At home, same thing — turn off the tv, dvd, or any other appliances when not in use — then “unplug”. What we usually do at home to also save is to not iron our clothes at all (hahaha). Good thing the laundry shop probably uses the best wrinkle cream for clothes so we need not iron them. No need to unplug cause we do not even plug. hehe.

“More energy (saved), mas happy!”
