Youth leaders from Region 10 were treated to a camp where they learned more about environmental protection and rehabilitation — plus, the importance of teamwork!
As they say, “ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan” (youth are the hope of our nation). If we want to bring our country back to its pristine state — cleaner, pollution-free — we have to join forces with the youth. After all, the kids of today are so bright, talented, and idealistic that whatever they set their minds to, they could do. They have the skills and the capability to bring the Philippines back to how it was — waters are clear, air is fresh, and our lands, fertile. So, I’m calling on all the youth to take charge and help protect our environment.
Anyway, here are more photos from the camp:
Powdery faces… Hihi 🙂
Smiles from the organizers and participants.
This youth camp, “Youth for Conservation: A Paradigm to Environmental Restoration”, held at the Mapawa Nature Park, Malasag, Cagayan de Oro City last February 19-20, was organized by the Environmental Management Bureau Region 10 in partnership with Holcim Philippines Lugait Plant.
