Chocolate Oatmeal Porridge

Cooking and preparing food is an art to many.

However, there are people like myself who are not that talented in the kitchen, but who would want to prepare something healthy, quick, and easy.

For this week’s food trip, we have a very easy-to-prepare snack that even kids can make — the Chocolate Oatmeal Porridge.

Chocolate Oatmeal Porridge

Serving: One cup/mug
Active Time: 2 minutes
Inactive Time: About 5 minutes (time it takes for the water to boil, in this case)
Total Time: 7 minutes

Basic Ingredients:

Oats (5 tablespoons), Chocolate Baking Chips (1 tablespoon scoop), Honey (1 tablespoon), Hot Water

Mix all the ingredients in a cup/mug. That’s it!

I love Choco Porridge, and I have a cup of it every morning. For me, it’s a great alternative to coffee (since it’s chocolate) and it gives me some of the fiber that I need.  It’s an easy snack too when we go camping. Also, it personally reminds me of a breakfast I loved growing up called Champorado, only, this one’s easier to make.

Hopefully, you would like this as much as I do.
