Energy Audit
Every office has to have an environmental management system in place. It’s not only “for the environment” as it implies, but it’s also economical — as it saves an organization a lot of money since implementing one entails recycling and reuse, as well as making sure resources are being conserved (and put to maximum use).
One environmental program you could put up at your offices is the energy conservation program. In our office, we connected it with electricity as well as fuel conservation. Basically, we switch off electrical appliances when not in use, or use “save energy mode” when operating equipment. We also have energy auditors to make sure we follow the standards we set for ourselves, and if we go the way against, they make sure corrective measures will be put in place.
It’s been years, and it’s a way of life now among us. Try it, and you’d get use to it. Love the environment.
