Kilus Tullahan
The other day, i posted about having conducted a lecture for the barangay leaders of Tullahan at the La Mesa EcoPark. It was part of the Metro North Railways Corporation, if I remember it correctly.
Anyway, the group, by now, has probably gone to visit the green ladies of Kilus Foundation, in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City. These ladies are known for their “Bazura Bags”, those bags made from recycled tetrapaks like zesto, etc. These women are really remarkable since from being jobless, they are now dollar-earners! Wow!
Anyway, they have expanded to other items as well. They have slippers, wallets, curtains, frames, boxes, carpets (you can see them at their factory). I think the only thing lacking are matouks, hehehe, but they could very well make banigs, for all we know.
Anyway, Kilus Tullahan! We admire you for doing this to save our environment!
