I’m not sure if you have seen this vid…

In February 2006, at the 56th Berlin International Film Festival, Filmmakers were invited to join a Short Film Competition on the Theme: FOOD, TASTE and HUNGER. 3,600 Filmmakers from around the world, joined the competition, but only 32 films were chosen to be screened at the Berlinale Talent Campus. This film topped the competition by being adjudged the Most Popular Short Film.

This is by a Filipino –Mr. Ferdinand Dimadura.

Sad but true. This video never fails to make me cry — and I feel really, really helpless :(

You know, the government has been spending a lot of money in waste collection yearly. If we only learn how to manage our waste –segregate, simple things like that — then those millions of money that literally go down the dumps could be spent to provide food, shelter, education, healthcare for these kids.

Please let is not just sit down on our patio chairs, lazying around. Let us each do our share.
