Plastics: Biodegradable or 100% Recycled?
About three or four years ago, in one of our lecture series in Laguna, a school administrator asked whether claims of plastics (not holters but just the simple plastic bags from malls and shops) being biodegradable are true or not. You probably have seen one of this bins around the metro…
They may not be colored green but they are, in a sense, green bins. The one on the left is a Nokia “We Recycle” Bin I saw at the Heart Center of the Philippines (upon entering the hospital premises, turn left. It’s very, very near the Development Bank of the Philippines branch inside).

This is Robomouse!
A friend of mine posted this on facebook a week ago and thought I’d share it here on my blog. It’s recycling at its coolest, where a couple of old computer mouse (shall I call it mice then?) got transformed into this really “cute” robot (I shall name the robot Arnold Schwazemousie).
