BBC Planet Earth Series
The holidays are nearing and it’s time to do some Christmas holiday shopping, and perhaps, one of the best gifts you can give to people you care about — your kids, your mom, your parents, or your students if you’re a teacher) is the BBC Video’s Planet Earth Series.
I found it at the eBillme site (an online shopping site) one of the recommended holiday gifts for mom, in fact. It says that BBC has spent 10 years producing the “most stunning footage of the Earth”… and that it is a “truly breathtaking television experience” for it “captures rare action, impossible locations and intimate moments with our planet’s best-loved, wildest and most elusive creatures.” It’s a special collector’s gift set, and includes The Blue Planet: Seas of Life and Planet Earth both of which use high definition photography and revolutionary ultra-high speed cameras.
Now, to be able to buy the Planet Earth Collectors’ Series, you have to register. They also have a contest for bloggers. You could watch this video here.
