Okay, so I was searching for local environment news to share here (aside from Tita Odette’s Passing ) and came across this global campain to add a new domain — .green — to the internet. So this is not exactly just limited to the Philippines, but also extends all across the globe — from America’s United States (hehe), to the temples in China, to Miami hotels south beach, to the Castles in Europe. This is the internet. Anyway, here’s their release.

.green is a new Top Level Domain proposed by The DotGreen Registry Corporation, a California Non-profit organization. You know .com and .org - now it’s time for .green

A .green Internet offers all Internet users the opportunity to participate in A Global Response to Environmental and Economic Necessity. (GREEN)

100 % Profits from the sale of domain names.green will be Distributed On Target (DOT) to address Climate Crises and Sustainability. The areas of Interest to receive profits to reach this goal are:
